New Discoveries Art & Frame Gallery was established in May 1995 in Brodhead, WI. Katy Helmer opened the gallery after working 5 years in the Art and Framing industry. This experience and her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree gave her the edge she needed to create a framing experience Artist’s and Art lovers alike would find surpassed that of the Big Box framing factories.
Since opening her gallery in 95 Katy has framed: Limited Editions and posters, original art in every medium, photographs, autographs, jerseys, footballs and sports memorabilia, needlework, quilts, silverware, jewelry, collections of all sizes and types, diplomas, newspapers, toys, postcards, puzzles…well, just about any item you can think of!
Katy has 18 years of experience in the framing industry. She has worked with Schools and Libraries, Banks, City Halls, Fire Departments, Cooporations, Resturants, Museums, and indiviuals. “I approach each project with enthusiasm. This field allows me to create individual showcases that are unique to each item I encounter. Using only quality, conservation materials ensures each custom framing project will last the test of time.” explains Katy.
