I have been very busy with framing this summer. All kinds of wonderful projects like: kids school projects, engagement and wedding photos, military shadowboxes, restaurant decor, office wall decor, original pastels, and now here comes the senior portraits and Badger football posters. Fall has arrived to soon.
A new show will be opening July2nd from 6-8 pm. Local artists have created works of art using recycled materials. This special showing will be up at The Nesting Shops until Sat. 17th. Any artist can enter an original art piece by Monday June 28th. For more information call 608-592-4000.
DOWNTOWN ART: ART AFTER THE PARK
If you are exploring ART IN THE PARK this year consider adding downtown Lodi to your day of fun. Our shops are full of wonderful works of art. The Nesting Shops alone is home for over 50 local artists. Most downtown shops will be open from 9-5 and some shops will be hosting guest artists on July 3rd.
The artwork of dorothea johnson will be featured by The Nesting Shops, from April 23-May 15th in an art show titled Looking Back : 61 years of creativity. Over these years dorothea has expressed herself in many mediums. Included in this showing will be early childhood works relating to some of her most recent and well known works of portrait, landscape, still life, and fabric. Please join us in celebrating the work of a truly creative soul. Opening night for this exhibit will be Friday April 23rd from 7-9pm in Lodi.
We are pleased to be exhibiting 30 new works from local artists, in a showing titled “Winter In our Neighborhood”. This show will be up for a short time. Stop in now -March 13 to view these imaginative creations.
