It is important to encourage young artists to value their creative spirit by preserving and displaying their original work.  Each student framing project is given a 15% discount off of our regular retail framing prices.  This savings can be applied all year long for as many student original artwork projects as you have custom framed.

Are you a professional artist or is art your hobby?  If you bring in your original work and have it custom framed you will receive a 15% discount off of the regular retail custom framing cost.  This discount can be used all year for as many of your original works as you wish to have custom framed.

New Discoveries Art & Frame Gallery was established in May 1995 in Brodhead, WI.  Katy Helmer opened the gallery after working 5 years in the Art and Framing industry.  This experience and her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree gave her the edge she needed to create a framing experience Artist’s and Art lovers alike would find surpassed that of the Big Box framing factories. 

Since opening her gallery in 95 Katy has framed: Limited Editions and posters, original art in every medium, photographs, autographs, jerseys, footballs and sports memorabilia, needlework, quilts, silverware, jewelry, collections of all sizes and types, diplomas, newspapers, toys, postcards, puzzles…well,  just about any item you can think of!

Katy has experience in the framing industry. She has worked with Schools and Libraries, Banks, City Halls, Fire Departments, Cooporations, Resturants, Museums, and indiviuals.  “I approach each project with enthusiasm.  This field allows me to create individual showcases that are unique to each item I encounter.  Using only quality, conservation materials ensures each custom framing project will last the test of time.” explains Katy.

Katy’s attention to detail, color and texture make her framing designs stand out.  Her ability to listen to her customers’ needs and implement them into her hand-crafted design have kept her customers coming back time and again.
